A new trailer for RBI Baseball 21 has come online, showcasing the professional baseball game's gameplay for the first time--and it looks pretty good. RBI Baseball 21 features a number of updates and improvements for this year's edition, including play-by-play commentary from Fran Charles, a create-a-player mode, further information and depth around player data, and a progressive time-of-day system that shows off subtle changes like when twilight becomes nighttime. The game also has more batting controls and camera angles than before, while the Switch edition has finally added online play for head-to-head. Check out the trailer: RBI Baseball 21 features White Sox star Tim Anderson on the cover. Everyone who pre-orders at Target and Walmart in the US will get special Tim Anderson foil cards from Topps. RBI Baseball 21 is the eighth entry in the series developed in-house by Major League baseball. For those new to the series, it's a more arcade-style take on baseball, compared to … [Read more...] about See RBI Baseball 21’s Gameplay In Action

Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan recreates WandaVision’s Agatha All Along scene

· March 4, 2021 ·

A YouTuber has recreated WandaVision 's 'Agatha All Along' musical number inside Animal Crossing: New Horizons . The scene has been recreated using assets and animations from Nintendo’s hit game, with Marvel's new banger playing over the top of it. Just like in the original clip, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons version features WandaVision characters Agatha, Wanda, Vision, and more who are played by Animal Crossing NPCs and customisable playable characters. The channel, Great-Bit Arcade , has also done a number of other recreations including the Pokemon TV series intro which features Ash using Pokeballs to catch various villagers, an Aggretsuko recreation which sees Isabelle take on the role of Sanrio’s metal-loving red panda Retsuko, and even a Simpsons intro recreation which is complete with an Animal Crossing themed couch gag. This wouldn’t be the first Animal Crossing: New Horizons recreation we’ve seen either, as fans have also gone to great … [Read more...] about Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan recreates WandaVision’s Agatha All Along scene

No Man’s Sky: Origins introduces Sandworms, millions of new worlds, and a weirder universe than ever before to explore

· September 23, 2020 ·

No Man's Sky: Origins is set to go live today. It's perhaps the most impactful expansion the space sim has enjoyed since its launch, introducing a whole host of changes to the underlying procedural generation in an effort to breathe new life to its universe. Speaking of new life, there's one new creature arriving that many of you have been asking after for quite some time now: the Sandworm. The Sandworm infamously appeared in the 2013 reveal trailer , although it never materialised in the final game. Players spent years hunting it across a procedurally generated universe, with No Man's Sky director Sean Murray eventually confirming that the creature never made it to the live server shard because fleeing it was no fun at all. So, why the change of heart? "You know, we showed that in a trailer, like, three or four years before No Man's Sky came out. We were so naive then – so, so naive," says Murray. The No Man's Sky Sandworm reemerges I get the sense that Murray would love … [Read more...] about No Man’s Sky: Origins introduces Sandworms, millions of new worlds, and a weirder universe than ever before to explore

Wasteland 3’s next patch will add more difficulty options, including permadeath

· March 4, 2021 ·

Wasteland 3 continues to be updated, with the post-apocalyptic RPG receiving patches like the one inXile called "Save Scummer's Delight" , which reduced load times by up to 60 percent, and one that buffed the swearing parrot and cyborg chickens . The next update is called "Death & Taxes" , and will bring Wasteland 3 up to version 1.3.3. If you've already finished the game and are looking to make things harder, this sounds like the update for you. It's adding a permadeath mode, which will mean members of your party who bleed out can't be brought back by a doctor or a convenient nitro spike jammed in their heart. If every Ranger in your party drops, it's game over. As inXile explains, "This is because the light of life has been extinguished from the party and the forces of evil have triumphed. Unless you were the forces of evil, in which case perhaps the forces of light and good prevailed when they killed you." Permadeath will be a singleplayer-only option, as having … [Read more...] about Wasteland 3’s next patch will add more difficulty options, including permadeath
