Destiny 2’s newest puzzle has players completely stumped. With Destiny 2’s weekly reset on Tuesday came a new event known as Niobe’s Torment. After players found their way to a previously hidden area on the EDZ location, Niobe Labs, they discovered a multi-tiered puzzle. Completing that puzzle will unlock the fourth and final forge in Destiny 2’s Black Armory Annual Pass content. But after more than 24 hours of attempts to solve the puzzle, Bungie has revealed that the Bergusia forge will open Wednesday at 2 p.m. PT, regardless of whether the puzzle is solved. “While coming together as a community to solve puzzles can be fun, setting this puzzle up as a gate between you and new content that you want to play has not been an ideal experience,” said Bungie. “As such, we will be decoupling the puzzle from the final offering of the Black Armory. All Annual Pass owners will be able to experience the Bergusia Forge when the puzzle is solved or when … [Read more...] about Destiny 2’s latest puzzle stumps players, forcing Bungie to release previously locked content

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ patch #19 has hit test servers on PC, and it’s a big one. PUBG Corp. continues to work on optimisations and quality-of-life changes, and today’s patch, #19, is another step in that direction. The update, which hit test servers earlier, comes in at just over 9GB. There are a few big features in patch #19. The first and most interesting is limb penetration, which is something the community has argued in favour of on many occasions. Limb penetration allows shots blocked by arms to do full damage to the chest, head, and waist. This should remove instances where erratic enemy movement would deny a player their headshot. In other words, having an arm in front of your face will no longer protect you against headshots. Limb penetration will not work if the arm is blocking any body part outside of the three above, meaning you’ll receive the correct damage to your arm so long as it’s not covering up any crucial parts. The other … [Read more...] about PUBG PC test patch brings back dynamic weather, adds limb penetration, tons of quality-of-life changes

The Resident Evil 2 Remake reveal at E3 2018 showed that we're getting far more than a simple remaster. Instead, RE2 Remake seems to go beyond even the remake of Resident Evil for the GameCube in how far it changes the game in scope. When the Resident Evil 2 Remake was announced, fans were thrilled with just the thought of having the original game updated to use modern gameplay and graphics. Instead, we're getting a whole new version of Resident Evil 2 with a firm foundation in the original, but with almost every aspect expanded and tweaked to make an entirely new game. Every asset for RE2 Remake is being built from scratch, so to track every single change from the original to the new game would be an exercise in futility. What we want to do is take a look at the sources we have so far (trailers, gameplay demos) and show what major aspects of the game have changed when it comes to what path you'll take through the game, how the layout of environments have changed, and what route the … [Read more...] about Resident Evil 2 Remake Changes: What’s New, What’s Different, What’s the Same?
It was last year when Hulu placed an order for a pilot episode that should have paved way for a live-action Locke and Key television series later this year. However, the subscription-based entertainment platform has since then decided to not move forward with the project. Speaking with Cultured Vultures in a recent interview, actress Samantha Mathis revealed that the completed pilot episode is now being screened for other platforms such as Amazon and Netflix. While none have stepped forward to pick up the series for the time being, there is hope that Locke and Key will find a new home by the summer. “I did a pilot for Hulu called Locke and Key but it didn’t get picked up by Hulu,” Mathis revealed. “It’s getting shopped around to Amazon and Netflix and Apple and everyone right now. Who knows, maybe that will end up some place.” Hulu initially showed great interest in adapting the critically acclaimed modern-day comic book series by Joe Hill for … [Read more...] about Hulu Drops Live-Action Locke and Key Series, Showrunners in Search for New Home
