Here’s a little morsel for the puzzle-fiends among you to chew on. Bit Rat: Singularity is a standalone ‘teaser’ for a larger planned cyberpunk story by new studio Bucket Drum Games, but a full-featured and remarkably clever little game in its own right. An AI (you) has gained sentience in the basement of a large corporate tower, and begins testing its reach, extending paths to spread itself through the tower. Naturally, hacking and corporate intrigue abounds. In mechanical terms, Bit Rat: Singularity initially looks like a simple block-rotating game in the vein of Pipe Dream, but there’s a surprising amount of depth to the game thanks to a variety of carefully considered and interlocking gameplay systems. Take a look at the game in action in the trailer after the jump. While the trailer above may make the game look a little simplistic, there’s a surprising amount of complexity to it. While your goal within each level is simple – connect a data path … [Read more...] about Cyberpunk puzzler Bit Rat: Singularity confirms the internet is a series of tubes

Who knew that The Black Panther movie would be such a hit? Even though fans were hyping about it for quite some time now, no one knew the impact of it. Tickets have been going fast ever … [Read more...] about Black Panther pre-sale tickets break Marvel Cinematic Universe record
Word on the street is a little game called Titanfall came out the other day. If you're one of the many Xbox One owners, there's a good chance you've already started playing it--or at least, you've tried. Our pals over at CVG have reported that many users faced connectivity issues with the online-only game following Tuesday's launch. Some players can't even sign into Xbox Live, let alone join a match to shoot at big ol' robots. Many immediately pointed the Blame Finger at Titanfall's publisher, Electronic Arts, saying--and I'm paraphrasing here--that these connection problems are no surprise, considering SimCity's disastrous launch, or the similar issues faced by Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. But Microsoft's own communications director, Larry Hyrb, took to Twitter, saying "If you are having issues signing into Xbox Live, we are aware of it and actively working on the issue. This is not a Titanfall issue." Alright, that's fair--but then what is the issue? If you recall, Microsoft … [Read more...] about Hang on… Is Titanfall really breaking Forza 5 online?
