Rather than the film delivering the storylines and themes that many audiences were expecting, the film circumvented those expectations, as it attempted to reinvent elements of the saga in order to push the franchise forward. Fans who didn't enjoy the movie fixated on the various new elements of the franchise as evidence of why it was a failure, including a moment in which Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo (Laura Dern) used a Resistance ship to eviscerate a First Order fleet. While previous Treyarch Call of Duty games have had Easter eggs and puzzles to solve in the Zombies mode, there's only usually been one or two maps at launch. With Black Ops 4 however, there are four maps to get your teeth stuck into. In IX, the Chaos story crew are thrown back in time to a coliseum in Ancient Rome. An undead horde starts attacking and you have free roam of the entire coliseum, including the underground tunnels.
