There were a lot of good reasons to be outside last weekend — that beautiful weather! —and a lot of them were Pokémon-related. But July’s community day was the pinnacle of the special events’ success — and a reminder of how far Pokémon Go has come over two years of ebbs and flows. There’s a dual purpose to community days, which occur worldwide on a designated day. The first is that they give players an increased chance of finding regular and shiny versions of Pokémon like Pikachu, Dratini and Charmander. Each one has an exclusive move as well, if you’re someone who’s hardcore into the battling aspects. The other part of these community days is the … [Read more...] about Pokémon Go community days have made the game fun again

GAMEFREAK today announced the news Pokemon fans have been waiting for since E3 last year - details on the games that will bring the franchise to Nintendo Switch for the first time, and two of them are coming out this year. Out today for Switch and coming in June for Android and iOS, Pokemon Quest is a "rambunctious" action RPG for Switch and for smartphones. November 16 will see Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let's Go Eevee released for Switch, with an as-yet-untitled third title coming next year. While it will be free to download and play, players can buy Expedition packs on the Nintendo shop which well allow them to attract more Pokemon, get more loot, and give players special Pokemon directly. 2019 will see a more traditional Pokemon game coming to Switch -- … [Read more...] about Pokemon Switch release dates confirmed as THREE new Nintendo Pokemon games announced

About a week ago, the development team for the forthcoming Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch posted a job listing for a localization expert to work through the end of the year to bring the title to Western audiences, with some hoping it means that the project will be ready before 2018 is over. Now, it looks as if possible concept art for the release has made its way online that shows off the potential Generation 8 starters for the game. As seen below in the tweet from the YouTuber known as Aero, Pokemon fans can get a look at what are purportedly the Generation 8 starters for the in-development Nintendo Switch title and judge for themselves whether or not the concept artwork is legitimate. If the pieces are indeed real, then it would mean that a Grass-Type Pokemon based on a lemur, a Fire-Type Pokemon based on a rabbit, and a Water-Type Pokemon based on a platypus would be players’ starter choices for the upcoming game. Here we go again. These are the supposed gen … [Read more...] about Pokemon Gen 8 Starters for Nintendo Switch Leaked?

The changing weather, time of day, new coordinate systems and a new engine were seen as so realistic at the time, the game's advertising claimed if it were any more lifelike "you'd need a license." 299. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (2013, Nintendo 3DS) The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is one of the best classic Zelda games in the series.
