Bandai Namco Entertianment is an ever-growing presence in the games publishing scene, and it seems like they only plan on expanding with new IP in the near future. In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, European Digital and Marketing VP Hervé Hoerdt stated that the studio wants 50% of the studio’s games and business to be from new IP. The publisher definitely doesn’t have a lack of established IP to pull from, as they own popular series like Pac-Man, Tales, SoulCalibur, Tekken, and Ace Combat. That being said, they have made an effort to create several new IP in recent years with games like Little Nightmares, Get Even, 11-11: Memories Retold, Twin Mirror, and Code Vein. World War I is a super interesting and intriguing period of history ripe for exploration in creative mediums. Unfortunately, only a few games like Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Battlefield 1 have been set during this time period to varying results. Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced 11-11: Memories Retold, a story-driven title set in World War I, which they are making with developer DigixArt and lauded animation studio Aardman. For those of you who don’t know, DigixArt is a French developer who released Lost in Harmony on iOS back in 2016. Meanwhile Aardman is a British animation studio that is famous for their stop-motion animation, and are best know for their Wallace & Gromit shorts and films. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is releasing on March 23rd on PlayStation 4 and PC. The sequel to the famous JRPG is looking more colorful than ever and Bandai Namco promises that the graphical update from its predecessor will keep players “enthralled from start to finish”. Just a month before Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom’s release, its publisher is sharing more info on its gameplay and is taking fans behind the scenes with a new video for the game and a throughout post on Playstation blog, from Dmitryi Khlynin Community Specialist, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America. Bandai Namco Entertainment is known for publishing some of the well-known franchises like Dark Souls, Tekken, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and more and now the company has teased something through its Twitter account. Whatever Bandai Namco is teasing is related to Justice as the company has only shared a screenshot with a caption “Justice”. Aside from the screenshot and the caption, Bandai Namco didn’t give any explanation as what is it they are teasing. Check out the screenshot below. Fans speculate that the tease is related to DragonBall Fighter Z and could be Goku Black but, until Bandai Namco officially reveals it, we can only speculate.
