Sony has confirmed a list of games that will be available as part of its overhauled PS Plus subscription service, which includes a selection of PS4 and PS5 titles for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Several games from PlayStation Studios--Marvel's Spider-Man, Returnal, and Demon's Souls--will be made available in the new Game Catalog alongside third-party titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Mortal Kombat 11. Classic games from the original PlayStation and PlayStation Portable will also be made available through a smaller library, which also includes a mix of first and third-party games. Ape Escape, Syphon Filter, and Wild Arms 3 are just some of the games joining the list, alongside Tekken 2 and several more. As part of the refreshed PlayStation Plus launching next month in the US, Ubisoft+ Classics is being bundled into the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Ubisoft+ Classics will launch with 27 curated games on June 13 in the US, and the lineup is expected to grow to around 50 games by the end of the year. The initial list includes Assassin's Creed Valhalla, For Honor, and a few Trials games in case you have a few controllers lying around that you don't mind breaking. Ubisoft+, the more standard version of the service that offers day-one releases, classic games, and premium editions, will be added to PlayStation at a later date. The service will also be coming to Xbox in the future and more of its games will be made available through Game Pass as part of a new deal between the companies. Ubisoft has announced that it is launching its Ubisoft Plus and a new 'Ubisoft+ Classics' subscription services on PlayStation Plus Premium. Announced today, Ubisoft has revealed it is launching its pre-existing Ubisoft+ subscription service on PlayStation platforms as well as a new membership for PlayStation Plus called 'Ubisoft+ Classics' which will feature a "curated selection" of the company’s most popular games, including Assassin’s Creed, The Division, For Honor, and tonnes more. The Ubisoft subscription service is already available on Stadia, Amazon Luna, and PC and offers subscribers more than 100 games including day one releases, classic games, additional content packs, and rewards. Earlier today on May 16, PlayStation finally pulled back the curtain on the list of games that'll be included with PS Plus next month via the PlayStation Blog . The PS4 and PS5 game tiers, which are included with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, boast first and third-party games alike. That includes the likes of Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for first-party games. As for third-party games, the list is shorter, but includes games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Batman Arkham Knight, Celeste, Dead Cells, and others.
