Jurassic World Evolution, due for release in summer next year, is a theme park management sim with the added danger of dinosaurs roaming around. It’s being developed by Frontier, creator of Elite Dangerous, and will see you following in the footsteps of John Hammond as you try and build the world’s greatest dinosaur-themed amusement park. And, like the films, there’s the constant threat of something going wrong and your guests being eaten by rampaging dinosaurs. But that’s all part of the fun.“We make games about things people are passionate about,” says game director Michael Brookes. “With Elite Dangerous it’s space and astronomy. With Planet Coaster it’s rollercoasters and theme parks. And for Jurassic World, well, who doesn’t love dinosaurs?” With games like Zoo Tycoon, A Dog’s Life, and Kinectimals in its long-running back catalogue, Frontier is no stranger to making games based around creatures great and … [Read more...] about Succeed where John Hammond failed in Jurassic World Evolution

"Jurassic Park 5" Cinema Blend revealed that according to Bayona, "Jurassic World 2" is both a sequel of "Jurassic World" and "Jurassic Park." It will definitely be the fifth chapter of a longer saga, which makes it both tricky and interesting. "Jurassic World 2" will try to find a link between "Jurassic World" and Jurassic Park," more than what the first movie did. "Jurassic World" previously featured several familiar elements from the Steven Spielberg dinosaur series, which launched in 1993. There were locations and pieces that may have given fans who watched the original film a bit of … [Read more...] about ‘Jurassic World 2’ Release Date, Cast & Latest News: Second Chapter Will Link Both ‘Jurassic World’ & ‘Jurassic Park’
With "Jurassic World" being one of the biggest films of 2015, the production team is definitely taking advantage of its lingering popularity and is reported to begin the production of "Jurassic World 2" on March next year for a June 2018 release. Thanks to the huge fan base of the "Jurassic Park" franchise, the fourth installment was an instant blockbuster hit when it was released last year. While it was not critically received well, "Jurassic World" earned more than enough to call for a sequel, "Jurassic World 2." However, fans are still looking for a third, fourth, and even a fifth installment. As there are no other movie franchises in Hollywood that capture the essence of dinosaurs better than the "Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic World" universe, a sequel (or even five) would be fitting. Director Juan Antonio Bayona had reassured the fans that "Jurassic World 2" will indeed be a worthy fifth installment to the franchise, according to a report from Game Zone. Bayona, along with … [Read more...] about ‘Jurassic World 2’ Release Date, Cast, Plot, News & Update: Production Starts March 2017, June 2018 Premiere Confirmed; 3 Sequels To Follow?

It's been 22 years since "Jurassic Park" debuted on the big screen, setting the standard for special effects and sound reproduction (it was the first film to be exhibited in DTS) as well as breaking a few box office records of the time. "Jurassic World" updates the original concept but stays true to the original, resulting in a sequel that just might break a few records of its own. Set on the same island as the original "Jurassic Park," Isla Nublar, "Jurassic World" doesn't attempt to reboot the franchise. Instead, it looks at what happened in the past and asks the question, "What would man have done afterward?" The answer, of course, is "Try again." "Jurassic World" is a bigger, better, badder version of the original theme park, but this time, it's a full-fledged resort. There are fancy new attractions, such as a water arena., dinosaur holograms, corporate sponsors, and a hotel. It's Jurassic Park as Disney would have envisioned it. At the heart of the park is Claire Dearing … [Read more...] about Movie Review – ‘Jurassic World’
The LEGO games have had a good run over the past few years, with titles like LEGO Marvel Superheroes, LEGO The Hobbit and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham all pushing the bar for what fans expect from the LEGO franchise. Each installment took the existing formula, improved what was there and added new elements for players to enjoy. LEGO Jurassic World presents traditional LEGO gameplay but doesn't really do anything to move the franchise forward. If anything, it feels like a filler title rushed out by TT's "B-team" to make the film's release date. It's not that LEGO Jurassic World is a bad game; it's just not a particularly great game. LEGO Jurassic World starts out promising enough, with a title screen that mimics a park overview from "Jurassic World" before dumping you into the opening of "Jurassic Park." After playing through the first level of the game, you have the option of continuing on with "Jurassic Park" or moving over to "Jurassic World." "The Lost World" and "Jurassic Park … [Read more...] about Xbox One Review – ‘LEGO Jurassic World’
We know that Jurassic World 2 will be called Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but beyond that, fans have been left to speculate on just what the highly-anticipated dino-sequel will be about. But Chris Pugh over at fan site Jurassic Outpost seems to have strung together a series of clues that… well, his theory makes sense to me, at least. Pugh points to a recent tweet from Fallen Kingdom producer Frank Marshall, which states, "Pretty wild we just wrapped a movie and a musical, both with volcanoes in them, both on the same weekend! @JurassicWorld @buffettmusical" as well as domain registrations like IslaNublarRescueMission.com and (since-removed) concept art which showed a smoking volcano in the background of a dinosaur attack. The plot, Pugh suggests, will revolve around an impending volcanic eruption on Isla Nublar, with our human heroes mounting a rescue mission to evacuate as many dinosaurs off the island as possible. This would tie in well to another tweet from Marshall, which … [Read more...] about If this theory is correct, Jurassic World 2 will be a very different type of story
We've only just got the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom name confirmed and production is barely under way, but we've got some new behind the scenes images that give a few clues as to what we can expect. SPOILERS obviously if you continue which is why the jurassic_world2018 instagram account posting them has helpfully hidden them in a gallery, so scroll right to see the goods. I won't say too much but expect some dinosaurs and parks. Another image I have been sitting on since May has also been leaked out. This image is from inside of Lockwood Manor and these are 2 dinosaur statues, one being a Velociraptor which closely resembles The Lost World Raptors and a Dilophosaurus. By Robert Purchese Published 10/11/2015 Looks like we missed out on a non-Lego Jurassic World video game, the fossilised remains of which are being uncovered now. Assets showing impressive 3D-rendered dinosaurs and film star Chris Pratt surfaced and were then removed - preserved in the museum of NeoGAF (via Kotaku) - strengthening reports about the game first aired months ago. A Jurassic World fansite found them as well as related employment records on artists' resumes. One artist referred to the "unannounced project" as in development at Cryptic Studios (Perfect World) in Seattle, which tallies with earlier reports about where the game was in development. "I created numerous creatures from scratch, and helped out with assets/textures for an open-world environment," it said. Another artist apparently mentioned that the unannounced project was a downloadable Steam/PlayStation Network/Xbox Live game built with Unreal Engine 4. The Jurassic World fansite doesn't mention names or link to … [Read more...] about Looks like we missed out on a non-Lego Jurassic World game
