Old Destiny 2 Raids And Dungeons Will Be Worth Revisiting Next Season In A New Weekly Rotation
Bungie will place raids and dungeons released before Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion into a rotation in Season 17 according to the This Week At Bungie post . There will be a raid rotator and a dungeon rotator, and completing those activities will give players a Pinnacle reward. Firstly, any new raid and dungeon will give players Pinnacle rewards after every encounter, the way they do right now. Next season, that means the Witch Queen's Vow of the Disciple raid will continue to offer Pinnacle rewards for each encounter, as will a new unnamed dungeon Bungie plans to release. In addition to that seasonal rotation that highlights the newest end-game content, though, Bungie is also adding a weekly rotation for older raids and dungeons, adding incentives to return to them, as well. The developer said, "For the weekly rotation, completing the final encounter in any of the chosen raids or dungeons will award a Pinnacle drop from a Weekly Challenge." Also, Legendary gear rewards … [Read more...] about Old Destiny 2 Raids And Dungeons Will Be Worth Revisiting Next Season In A New Weekly Rotation
The First Official PS5 Bundle Comes With Horizon Forbidden West
Though it's not uncommon to find a PS5 bundle, up until now all of them have been unofficial retailer-made bundles designed to make consumers spend more money when purchasing the elusive console. But after more than 1.5 years, Sony is releasing the first official PS5 bundle. As spotted by Wario64 , PlayStation Direct has listed PS5 and PS5 Digital editions featuring Horizon Forbidden West. They have been available in the UK for about a week, but PS Direct is the first US retailer to list them. The bundles aren't available for purchase yet, but you'll want to make sure you are registered for the chance to purchase a PS5 from PS Direct . Considering that the listing is live on PlayStation Direct, we imagine they will be up for grabs soon. See PS5 bundle See PS5 Digital Bundle It's unclear how much each bundle will cost in North America. Retailers in the UK have been selling them for a £20 discount versus buying the PS5 and Horizon Forbidden West separately. So, it … [Read more...] about The First Official PS5 Bundle Comes With Horizon Forbidden West
Xbox Outsells PlayStation In Japan For First Time Since 2014
The sales in Japan for Xbox Series S last week surpassed those of PlayStation 5, making this the first time an Xbox console has outsold a PlayStation in any given week since 2014. According to Famitsu , during the week of May 9 through May 15, the Xbox Series S console sold 6,120 units. Sales of the PlayStation 5 disc version and digital edition consoles were at 2,240 and 493 units, respectively, for a combined total of 2,693 units. This specific incident is most likely due to the low supply of PlayStation 5 consoles whereas Xbox Series S supply is more plentiful. Last year, Sony reportedly told analysts that shortages for its latest console will continue through 2022 . The last time a similar situation happened was when the Xbox One was first released in Japan back in 2014, clocking in 23,562 units sold during its launch week compared to the 6,373 units of PlayStation 4 consoles sold during that same time period. Not since the launch of the Xbox One has Xbox outsold … [Read more...] about Xbox Outsells PlayStation In Japan For First Time Since 2014

Destiny 2 Vault Size Increasing By 100 In Season 17
Bungie has announced that in Destiny 2 's next season, players will get an increase to their vault space. As outlined in the latest TWAB post , Bungie said that it would be increasing players vault size by 100 spaces, bringing the grand total to 600 items. This marks Destiny 2's first expansion to player's vault size in nearly four years , since the last time it received an increase was in Destiny 2's lauded Forsaken expansion. Vault space, which has been viewed as a precious commodity by the most heavily invested Destiny 2 players, has been a frequent source of tension for the community since it last received an upgrade. It has not only been years since players vault spaces were bumped to 500 slots; countless seasons and three expansions chock full of armor and weapons have arrived in the game since then, meaning that vault space has been long overdue. For a game all about collecting rare and precious loot, the lack of updates to vault size began feeling hostile to many … [Read more...] about Destiny 2 Vault Size Increasing By 100 In Season 17
Genshin Impact update 2.7 release date set for May 31 with a reveal coming tomorrow
Genshin Impact update 2.7 has a new release date following its delay: it will now arrive on Tuesday, May 31, with a reveal stream now coming tomorrow, May 20. Developer Hoyoverse confirmed the updated launch schedule earlier today. Despite rumors and speculation that the Genshin Impact 2.7 delay could push Hoyoverse into shortening the update in order to get the game back on its usual six-week cycle, the studio says "the duration of version 2.7 is expected to be six weeks." Update 2.8 is planned to launch on July 13, 2022. However, the ongoing Spices from the West event, which implied that update 2.7 could arrive as late as June , will continue through June 7 as planned. Per Hoyoverse's previous statement, the weekly compensation given out for the update 2.7 delay will be adjusted , so expect 400 more Primogems to arrive on Wednesday, May 25, and a bit less for the final week. As usual, the time zone breakdown for the update's launch means it will … [Read more...] about Genshin Impact update 2.7 release date set for May 31 with a reveal coming tomorrow
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Adds New DLC Today, Glutton’s Gamble
The next DLC for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is out now. Glutton's Gamble, as it's called, lets players take on a more difficult version of one of the game's dungeons to get better loot. "You can test your mettle with this challenging, re-playable gauntlet while Vesper shares the self-contained story of Imelda's origins," reads a line from the game's description. Players can find the dungeon in the Dreamveil Overlook, which is located just outside Brighthoof in the game's Overworld. In the dungeon itself, players will find enemies with a baseline level of 13, though they will then scale to their level beyond that. "Tread carefully, because dying within a Mirror of Mystery will kick you out of the looking glass; you'll have to start over if you want to show Imelda who's boss," Gearbox said. The final boss in Glutton's Gamble is Imelda, and she will become deadlier and deadlier as the weeks go on. For three consecutive weeks beginning today, Imelda will brew herself a potion that … [Read more...] about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Adds New DLC Today, Glutton’s Gamble
