report this adEpic’s 14 Days of Fortnite holiday plans are having a rough start, with the developer forced to disable Fornite Save the World due to a major issue stemming from the v7.10 patch released Tuesday morning. The main issue is reported to be that Save the World players who participated win the Frostnite special event have had their entire Stormshield Storage erased. The reason for the drastic actions on Epic Games‘ part was due to worries that there were broader data loss issues, or that the data loss would prove to be severe. So, Fortnite Save the World is down for the time being in order to find out how to recover players’ lost storage. report this adBeginning December 19, Fortnite developer Epic Games is bringing back some popular limited-time modes (LTMs) as part of its winter event. Fans may want to take note that this v7.10 update was also supposed to include the Driftboard, but shortly after that was revealed, Epic Games decided to delay the single-user vehicle. That said, the v7.10 update still managed to come out of the gate swinging. The big news out of the patch notes is the forthcoming LTMs as part of the 14 Days of Fortnite event. Not only are popular LTMs making a comeback, but the event will also feature some new LTMs. Of course, Epic Games stopped short of revealing exactly what LTMs would be in the rotation, but the developer did kindly share how this rotation would work exactly.Essentially, large team-based LTMs will switch every two days, which likely includes 50v50 or maybe even 5 teams of 20 events. We’re nearly a month away from Resident Evil 2‘s launch, and Capcom has ramped up marketing for the game considerably with plenty of screenshots, gameplay previews, trailers, and more. The company has also revealed some more information about Resident Evil 2, including whether or not the upcoming game will feature any new monsters not seen in the original 1998 release. As recently revealed by Capcom, the Resident Evil 2 remake will not have any new monsters in the game. Players will instead take on the usual batch of zombies, Lickers, Mr. X, and other enemies that they encountered in the original release, albeit with new paint jobs. However, this is not the end of the game’s offerings for this holiday season, as the in-game news feed has just revealed that Driftboards are on their way to the battle royale sensation. In keeping with Fortnite‘s winter theme for Season 7, snowboards act as the point of inspiration for Driftboards. While not much is currently known about the Driftboard, it is confirmed to be a single player vehicle.
