Prior to launch, some Mortal Kombat 11 fans were upset when they came to the realization that Mileena wouldn’t be in the game. A new Harry Potter: Wizards Unite trailer calls “all wizards” to sign up and help the Ministry of Magic stop muggles from seeing magical creatures and events. The trailer also teases the release date of the hotly anticipated mobile game which is being developed by Pokemon GO developer Niantic. In the “Calling All Wizards” trailer for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, live action with some CGI shows players what sort of gameplay they can expect from the mobile game. In one scene, a group of soccer players faces off against a trio of cloaked enemies who appear to be Dementors. In another scene, Cerberus, the three headed dog, uses a bus like a plaything. And in yet another scene, we see a Book of Monsters attacking a poor shop keeper who tries to bat it away with a broom. While Mortal Kombat 11 launched to critical success, developer NetherRealm Studios has recently been met with accusations of a crunch culture forcing employees to work 100-hour work weeks. These Mortal Kombat 11 crunch culture accusations are seemingly being taken seriously, as NetherRealm is indeed investigating these claims. This much has been confirmed by current employees, but there seems to be a concern that things will revert back to normal. Speaking to Variety, a current employee confirms that the studio is currently gathering worker concerns and has reportedly cut overtime in the past week. A studio-wide meeting took place following the initial accusations, with the developer addressing how it intends to move forward. Like most games, Mortal Kombat 11 has its own fair share of Easter eggs, ranging from the connection between Frost and Disney’s Elsa to Johnny Cage having a Toy Story Easter egg. Now, it appears to be Baraka’s turn, as he has a clear nod to Marvel’s Black Panther and perhaps his most iconic phrase “Wakanda Forever.” As seen above, Black Panther is known to give the “Wakanda Forever” salute after crossing his arms in a show of solidarity.
