No launch date for The Division 2 was specified, nor were platforms, though Massive said that it will once again build the game with the Snowdrop Engine that powered the original game. Yesterday, the official Twitter feed for The Division said news about the series was coming today, via a Twitch livestream in roughly 10 minutes.
