Give the Internet something pure, and it’ll be corrupted within a few days. Super Smash Bros Ultimate‘s rumored stage builder mode is now here, and while the feature is sure to provide fans of the game with hours of cutsomization, the game currently seems to be getting pretty NSFW as far as community stages are concerned. Browsing the user-created stages will reveal a mix of wholesome stage creations sprinkled in with a whole heap of raunchy ideas from the depths of the internet. Pretty much every box has been checked so far, from the inevitable phalluses scattered about the browser to more abstract art pieces like “Mario Urinating.” While it seems that Nintendo is keeping a careful eye on what’s actually being recommended to players, more stages are likely to make it through unless some sort of word blocker is implemented. Of course, this was all to be expected. The internet has a tendency to corrupt pretty much anything it can get its hands on, … [Read more...] about Super Smash Bros. At the moment, fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are going crazy over the recent 3.0 update, which brings with it the highly anticipated DLC character Joker from Persona 5. But this wasn’t the only extra bit of news Nintendo has dropped; the company also announced three new Amiibo figures for the game – Pichu, the Pokemon Trainer and Isabelle. Those who love collecting Nintendo’s miniature figurines won’t have long to wait to get their hands on them either. The aforementioned three characters will be made available at retailers from July 26th. It’s not yet known how much they’ll be, but we can safely assume they’ll cost the same as previous Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Amiibo at $16 USD each. Joker’s neutral special is his signature pistol, which can be used rapid fire or in the air for cool maneuvers. His side special is Eiha, a curse ability with weak initial damage, but it does rack up damage … [Read more...] about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Joker Release Date, Moveset Confirmed
Ever since Persona 5‘s Joker was announced as being the first DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (not counting Piranha Plant), fans and non-fans of Atlus’ JRPG mega-hit have been feverishly anticipating his eventual release. However, information about the character has been virtually non-existent in the last three months. We only got to see Joker’s official character art and amiibo pose thanks to a leak from Best Buy, and just when it looks like he will finally drop soon, it’s now been suggested that his release could be delayed. Granted, there’s no official statement that this is the case, but it was recently noticed that something a tad off has occurred ever since a Nintendo livestream that showcased a trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s Challenger Pack, which offers five brand new playable characters, including Joker. Initially, it stated that Joker would be arriving some time in April, but it’s since been changed to say … [Read more...] about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Joker Release May Be Delayed
When it comes to fighting games, there are a number of strategies that players can use to ensure that they earn a victory. Some of these strategies are less-respected by the fighting game community than others, like spamming cheap attacks. One strategy used by Super Smash Bros. In the Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament match, Chango was taking on Chaucer “Fauxhebro” Gilson, who mains Ice Climbers. Chango used a controversial Jigglypuff strategy where he barely engages the opponent head-on, mostly just using Jigglypuff’s floating ability to flee from conflict. This frustrated Fauxhebro to the point that he literally stopped playing mid-match, and left the Ice Climbers standing motionless. Chango didn’t make any moves either, as he had more … [Read more...] about Super Smash Bros. Melee Player Quits in the Middle of Tournament Match
