The highest spike in E3 conversation happened during the Nintendo Direct press conference with 890K Tweets, after which @Nintendo became the most Tweeted topic, followed by @Xbox, and then #SuperSmashBros. Without a doubt, Nintendo’s decision to focus on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during its E3 2018 presser led to many agreeing that the Big N managed to provide fans with one of the best gameplay trailers of this year’s expo, as it confirmed the largest roster ever in the fighting game franchise’s history. With all of the characters from the previous titles returning to do battle with one another in the sequel, it makes one wonder if Nintendo will bring any new fighters into the fold. Interestingly enough, one rumor suggests that Castlevania‘s Simon Belmont could be on the way. This piece of scuttlebutt comes from the Redditor and GameFAQs community member known as Vergeben, who accurately predicted about a month ago that Super Smash Bros. Today at its E3 press conference, Nintendo has announced the title for the new Smash Bros game, which is now called Super Smash Ultimate. The name is absolutely fitting for the game, as it is likely the biggest game crossover in history. In addition to revealing all 64 characters that will be in Super Smash Ultimate, Nintendo has also indicated gameplay changes for some of the returning characters. During Nintendo’s E3 presentation, the company introduced the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and also confirmed that every character from the franchise would be returning for this debut on Switch, including the fan-favorite Solid Snake. Today, during Nintendo’s E3 press conference, Nintendo officially unveiled Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with gameplay that featured a ton of characters such as Ice Climbers, Snake, and many, many more. However, one key detail was revealed that’ll be sure to change up the typical combat over the Smash Ball. It was revealed that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate introduces and includes a fake Smash Ball that’s certain to make the fight over the Smash ball that much more hectic. Of course, it stands to reason that sometimes the fake ball with appear without the real Smash Ball needing to appear, but again, that’s just more chaotic.During the Nintendo Treehouse presentation, it was revealed that the fake Smash Ball could be identified by its marking, but that doesn’t mean it’ll make the flow of combat any easier.
