In Rajkot India, a ban is imposed on playing PUBG. The notification was issued last week and since then 10 people have been arrested for playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Most of the players arrested are undergraduate students that were arrested within the last two days. Police Commissioner Manoj Agrawal is the one who banned the game in the city through a notification on March 6. According to him, 12 cases are registered so far, however, it is a bailable offence. The case will go to the courts where a trial will take place for not following the notification. On Wednesday, the Rajkot Special Operations Group arrested three people near the HQ. After a recently leaked image of Erangel on Reddit, PUBG Corp. officially announced on March 7th that the upcoming updates will focus towards remastering and improving the game’s maps. A fan posted an image on PUBG’s subreddit highlighting several compounds that he found while playing on a test server. The image indicates that several locations within the map will be receiving improvements and additions. PUBG Corp started a “a global investigation on all the currently active professional PUBG players to uncover any potential in-game bans related to the use of unauthorized programs on their accounts” on 19th December of 2018. The first ‘victims’ of this investigation were four professional players: Christian “Cuhris” Narvaez, Tyler “DevowR” Sti, Liam “Liammm” Tran, and Mark “Tefl0n” Formaro. These players are officially banned for three years, from December 31st, 2018 to December 31st, 2021, from participating in any competitive activities.
