After PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds became a worldwide phenomenon on PC, smashing various Steam concurrent user records in the process, Microsoft was quick to secure it as a console exclusive for the Xbox One. After spending quite a bit of time in early access, the game that popularized the battle royale genre had its full release earlier this month, but now it seems like it may be making its way over to the Xbox One’s main competitor, the PlayStation 4. A Twitter user by the name of Nibel spotted PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds listed for PlayStation 4, suggesting that an announcement could be right around the corner. In the final hours of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta for its forthcoming battle royale mode Blackout, Treyarch decided to test its servers and push the player cap to 100. It seems apparent Treyarch plans to use this information to test the heavy multiplayer mode before launch, but it also appears that Treyarch gathered information concerning armor throughout the beta and have made changes based on that. For the uninitiated, Black Ops 4 has been continuously criticized for its in-game armor, not just in this battle royale beta but its multiplayer beta too. Perhaps these changes will go a long way in making the launch as smooth as possible, but that remains to be seen. It’s a new week in Destiny 2, which means that several activities and challenges have reset. Chief among them is the new Ascendant Challenge for Week 3, which will have players once again entering the Ascendant realm to collect some loot. The challenge is also one of Petra’s Weekly Bounties that are key to more powerful gear and increasing one’s power level above 500. The Ascendant Challenge for Week 3 starts with finding the blight. This week Destiny 2 players will find the entrance in the Spire of Keres. Most will recognize this as the area where they take the Oracle Offering to complete another of Petra’s weekly bounties.To find the Spire of Keres, head to the left after spawning into the Divalian Mists and then circle around to the south. Follow the path by jumping over some cliffs and then enter the Spire of Keres. The blight is well off the beaten path so follow the video to find its specific location.
