report this adAlthough many fans are likely still reeling from everything that occurred on the Pokemon GO December Community Day, many are also looking forward to the fan-favorite event next month. December Community Day will be hard to follow for sure, as it featured every Pokemon that headlined the event for the whole year of 2018. Still, next month is kickstarting a new list of featured Pokemon, so many are anxiously waiting on Niantic to confirm what’s coming. While there should be an announcement relatively soon, the Silph Road and Pokemon GO players as a whole have been discussing what Pokemon will or should feature for January 2019. Thanks to a thus-far proven and established pattern, though, many believe that it will be the water-type gen 2 starter Totodile. Of all the contenders, this makes the most sense.Since Community Day events began, a starter has featured every other month: Pikachu in January 2018, Bulbasaur in March, Charmander in May, Squirtle in July, Chikorita … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO January 2019 Community Day to Feature Totodile?
report this adPokemon GO Trainer Battles seem to be right around the corner and the community of players is very eager to dive in and start mastering the PvP features. Although the launch hasn’t started yet, it seems like Niantic has learned from its past mistakes and is offering some rollout information early. Whenever Pokemon GO launches a major feature (like Battle Raids or Friends), sometimes they start by only offering level 40 players access and then gradually expanding to lower levels as they ensure that the new build is stable. This is a smart strategy, but a lack of communication about these plans has caused drama in the past. This time around, Pokemon GO is making it very clear that Trainer Battles will have a similar slow rollout for those same reasons. Here’s a look at the confirmation tweet from Pokemon GO regarding the rollout of Trainer Battles… In the past, it has only taken between a few hours and a few days for new features to reach everyone down to … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO: Level 40 Players To Get Trainer Battles First
report this adAlthough no official release date has been announced, Pokemon GO’s next major update seems to be just a few days away. The APK is now available, which means dataminers are about to pick through all of the details about the upcoming patch before it is pushed to individual devices. That means trainers have a ton of new details about the new PvP battle system to devour. The initial press release offered a lot of insight into how PvP Battles are going to work, but the system obviously has a lot more moving parts than could be explained in that quick announcement. Luckily, the Pokemon GO community is already tearing down the APK and pulling out the most important points for trainers to take note of. For example, there is a lot of code relating to Buffs and Debuffs that seems to have the community stumped for now…“The code references multiple levels of Buffs and Debuffs, as well as sound effects related to Buffs and Debuffs. The interesting fact is that the … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO: PvP Update Data Reveals New Details

As it so happens, the studio behind PoGO is ramping up production in preparation for a forthcoming unannounced event, and it has now promised to bring back the Ice and Flying-type, Delibird, for the occasion. Niantic has yet to explicitly confirm that a winter event is on the way, but with Delibird’s arrival during the 2018 holiday season now locked in, it’s safe to presume that a Christmas celebration is coming to Pokemon GO soon. For those unaware, the Ice and Flying-type’s signature move is “Present”, which allows it to carry special items in its tail, so players should expect Delibird’s arrival to come bearing gifts in some shape or form.During last year’s Christmas extravaganza in Pokemon GO, Niantic … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO Bringing Back Delibird for Winter Event
