Once players have managed to complete the Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 challenges, the Season 9 Week 3 battle star can be found at Junk Junction. On the south side of the area, just outside of the junkyard gates, players will spy a semi truck with vehicles stacked on its trailer. This includes a green RV, an ice cream truck, and an upside down car with a bookshelf on top of it. Climb to the top of these vehicles to find the Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 battle star. Dead Island 2 was first announced all the way back at Sony’s E3 2014 presentation, where its trailer was met with a positive response from fans excited to see more open world zombie-killing action. We were then treated to a Dead Island 2 gameplay demo not long after, but then momentum for the game fell off a cliff, and we haven’t seen anything substantial about it for years. Fans could be forgiven for assuming Dead Island 2 was canceled, but apparently that’s not the case, and the game is still coming out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This was revealed by THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors (THQ partly owns Deep Silver, the publisher of Dead Island 2), when he was talking about the company’s upcoming games. Unfortunately, all Wingefors confirmed was that Dead Island 2 is still in development and that fans should stay tuned for more information. Wingefors gave no indication as to how far along in development Dead Island 2 is at this … [Read more...] about Is Dead Island 2 Still Coming Out?
Change is coming to Destiny 2 as players prepare for the arrival of the final known season of the annual pass as well as the controversial upcoming update. While the debate continues to rage on over the potential nerfs coming to popular exotic gear and weapons like Whisper of the Worm, Bungie is looking for additional feedback from the community regarding other aspects of the game. On Reddit, a discussion broke out on the topic of the bridge encounter during Tier 3 Reckoning. The user known as Chekoby brought up the fact that this encounter is nearly impossible to do without a constant Hunter tether spam as well as the Warlock’s Well of Radiance or Titan’s Ward of Dawn. Many feel that this difficult Destiny 2 encounter is going to be even more challenging once the nerf patch goes live and reduces the effectiveness of a number of exotics like the Orpheus Rigs which help players bypass this section of Reckoning. Chekoby goes on to ask that Bungie attempts this section in a … [Read more...] about Destiny 2: Bungie Taking Feedback on Reckoning Mode Difficulty
Division 2 players hoping that developer Massive Entertainment might tweak the raid difficulty on console are out of luck, as this week the studio confirmed it has no plans to do so. The developer did, however, detail some improvements to gameplay and bug fixes that are in the works, and could potentially alleviate some of the difficulty of the Operation Dark Hours raid. During this week’s State of the Game stream, developer Massive Entertainment spent a sizeable amount of time congratulating those Division 2 players that had completed the Operation Dark Hours raid. As part of that congratulations, the devs also announced that the World’s First teams on each platform would get their individual groups memorialized in a White House portrait. Before, Massive was only going to create an image for the true World’s First team, but after some nudging from fans that saw how difficult the console version of the raid is, the team decided every platform deserved its … [Read more...] about Division 2 Won’t Lower Raid Difficulty for Console Players
Overwatch‘s Anniversary 2019 event is now live, giving players the chance to collect basically every skin in the game as well as participate in all of seasonal game modes from the game’s past events. In addition to past skins, the Anniversary 2019 event for Overwatch also adds six new legendary skins to the game for players to collect, with each costing 3,000 coins. Five of the six characters to get new legendary skins for the Overwatch Anniversary 2019 event are characters who were in the game at launch. Brigitte is the only post-launch Overwatch character to get a legendary skin as part of the event. However, there are lower-tier skins for other characters on the roster. So far, it seems that the most popular Anniversary 2019 event skin in Overwatch is Gargoyle Winston. While many Overwatch fans are still waiting for the ultra-intelligent gorilla to get a buff before they use him regularly in Competitive Play, others may be unable to pass up the chance … [Read more...] about Overwatch: All the Anniversary 2019 Legendary Skins
