Along with Episode Three, players will also receive “Redux” editions of Episodes One and Two, which have been significantly tweaked by Hinterland in response to community feedback. In Episode Three of Wintermute, players will take the role of Dr. Astrid Greenwood, who will discover more about the “First Flare”, the event which triggered the titular Long Dark. According to a study published by the Internet Advertising Bureau, the majority among games users are now women. The study reveals that 52% of the gaming audience is made up of women. Steam has released a “Best of 2018 So Far” list, compiling the best-selling and most-played games of the year up to June. It’s worth noting that we’re only a little over halfway through the year, and this list is likely to change by the end of 2018. That said, some of these games have done phenomenally well, so it’s not a stretch to expect them in year-end lists too. The digital distribution platform’s list is divided into 4 categories: Top Sellers, Top New Releases, Top Selling VR Games and Most Played. Quick note: Steam doesn’t actually release exact numbers in terms of revenue, but we already know how ridiculously popular some of these games are, so we can extrapolate at least a little from that. It’s also worth … [Read more...] about Steam Releases Best Of 2018 So Far List, Includes Top Sellers And More
It’s quite incredible just how far online casinos have come over the last couple of decades. They’ve changed the way we gamble completely, giving us the option to play our favourite casino games from the convenience of our own home, or on the move – and with any device we have at our fingertips. Just think that it used to be like. Gamblers would have to make infrequent trips to city centre casinos or take a pricey break to Las Vegas, Monaco or Macau. With fully-fledged virtual casinos in our pockets, the need to take time out to travel somewhere to enjoy some gambling is becoming less pertinent. And players have loved it. According to Gambling Commission figures, up to a third of all adults in the UK now use the internet to gamble on the National Lottery, online casino games, bingo and sports. Of the £13.9 billion that we spend on all forms of gambling in the UK each year, nearly £4.9 billion comes from online-only services. This huge amount of … [Read more...] about Incredible How Far Online Casinos Have Come. Take A Look!
