Now that Metro Exodus has finally hit the market, many players are diving into all it has to offer such as getting the good ending. This led to one player to discover an Easter egg reference to the September 11 terrorist attacks that resulted in the collapse of the Twin Towers in Manhattan. This reference can be found while Metro Exodus exploring the sand regions. Basically, there is an archive in this area of satellite maps tracking radiation levels and environmental damage. It was intended as a backup in case the government ever decided to return to the surface, but when looking at this archive of maps, there is something strange in one of the “open” spots compared to the rest of it. There is a small plane model where a map is supposed to be, with this Metro Exodus figurine being an allusion the September 11, 2001 date of the terrorist attacks. Across the top, there is a list of months (written in Russian) and down the left-hand side, there’s a list of years … [Read more...] about Metro Exodus Player Finds September 11th Reference

Metro Exodus FAQs – Railcar, Teddy Bear, Guitar, Gas Can puzzle, Duke
The third instalment in the cult series, Metro Exodus, is the most ambitious and open title from 4A Games yet, with dense, explorable environments and tonnes of hidden items. Metro Exodus: How to Get the Good Ending

Metro Exodus game box hides Steam logo with Epic Games sticker
Boxed PC copies of the new Metro Exodus have been spotted on store shelves with the Steam support logo covered with an Epic Games sticker. The alteration to the packaging indicates that this was a last minute decision made by publisher Epic Games, who just recently announced that the game would not be purchasable on Steam. The freshly applied sticker informs players of the Epic Games Store installation information instead of the original Steam details. Photos of the rush job have emerged via Twitter, with multiple users taking to the social network to share their discoveries. One user, lashman, has posted a snap of his Metro Exodus box with the Epic Games sticker peeling off slightly. It is evident that the physical packaging was finalized and printed before the change of distribution, causing this somewhat messy solution. If the Epic Games sticker is removed, the box still shows the Steam logo underneath. The sticker appears to completely cover the initial printing … [Read more...] about Metro Exodus game box hides Steam logo with Epic Games sticker
