Pokemon GO saw one of its biggest Gen 4 updates recently, adding not only new Pokemon and evolutions, but brand new Lure Modules as well. Pokemon GO players can use these Lure Modules to get some of the game’s most anticipated Pokemon, including the Eeveelutions Glaceon and Leafeon. However, there is another way to get Glaceon and Leafeon in Pokemon GO. Past Eeveelutions in Pokemon GO have let players use a “name trick” to be guaranteed a certain Eeveelution, with the names coming from the Pokemon anime. For example, if players want their Eevee to evolve to Flareon, they can nickname it “Pyro.” Alternatively, if they want their Eevee to evolve to Vaporeon, they can nickname it “Rainer,” and so on and so forth. Despite players being able to guarantee themselves a Glaceon or Leafeon using Lure Modules, they can also use the name trick to get them as well. Please note that the name trick will only work the first … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO: Does the Name Trick Work for Glaceon and Leafeon?
With an endless game like Pokemon GO, each type of player has their own goals and idea of endgame content. Some players care about hitting max level, some want 100% IV raiding rosters, while others may just want to complete their Pokedex. With the frequent release of new and exciting generations and creatures, that last one can be a bit of a moving target. Pokemon GO recently set a few new Pokemon lose in the wild, including new evolutions for Eevee. These all take the complete Pokedex number a bit higher and offer new opportunities for trainers to add entries to their collections. Currently, the max Pokedex available (as of May 20, 2019) is 485. In order to fill in all of those spots, players either need to do some traveling or some well coordinated trading. We’ve broken down how to get up to that elusive 485 goal.Kanto Region 151, with 4 regionals (Mr.Mime, Kangaskhan, Farfetch’d, Tauros) Johto Region 100, with 2 regionals (Heracross, Corsola) Hoenn Region 133, with 9 … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO: What Is A Complete Pokedex?
If there is one evergreen activity in video games, it is shooting Nazi or better, Nazi zombies. The later is more exciting but Sniper Elite always made shooting regular Nazi soldiers just as much fun. Who can never get over the appeal of this amazing franchise? The introduction of x-ray visuals added so much pizzaz to the whole experience. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered takes us back to a time when this franchise was just getting started. People who joined the franchise with recent installments never experienced the linear design, dull protagonist, and dated visuals by today’s standard. Rebellion announced Sniper Elite 5 recently which will probably be coming to next-generation platforms. However, the remastered version gives those new to the franchise, an opportunity to experience the roots of Sniper Elite. But don’t worry, the roots have been modernized with 4K textures which make the game look pretty good compared to the original. Also, you will have access to all of the … [Read more...] about Sniper Elite V2 Remastered — Nostalgia Is Strong With This One
Nostalgia can be a powerful force, both for good or ill. In the plus column, nostalgia can be a way to relive the halcyon days of your youth, that golden era before you realized all men must die and our planet is doomed to become a lifeless cinder (I've been watching a lot of Game of Thrones, ya'll). In the cons column, nostalgia can be exploited by predatory corporations to sell you plastic junk that ends up being more inert paperweight than wellspring of fond remembrances. Luckily, My Arcade's Namco Museum Mini Player falls squarely in the former category. The tiny arcade cabinet, packed with 20 games from Namco's own golden age, feels like a thriving arcade plucked right out of my childhood and condensed into a charming little device to ornament my desk. Probably my favorite piece of the Mini Arcade package is the vibrant, colorful bezel and side art, authentic pieces that transport me back to those smoky arcades of yore even more profoundly than the games … [Read more...] about The Namco Museum Mini Player is a tiny arcade for your desk
