Disney Plus in the UK is about to change. The streaming service is expanding with Star, a new section on Disney Plus that will sit alongside Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and National Geographic. Unlike those sub-sections, though, Star on Disney Plus will feature adult-aimed movies and shows – and if you’re a parent, don’t worry, there are features that can lock young ones out of Star content. New movies and shows include some bonafide classic TV shows (Lost, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 24), iconic movies (Braveheart, The Fly, Independence Day), Oscar winners (Moulin Rouge, Three Billboards), and so much more. Notably, though, while Die Hard 2 and Deadpool 2 feature, there’s no sign of the first Die Hard or Deadpool. However, we can expect new additions every month, and those movies should come to the streamer soon. It’s worth noting that the Disney Price price is going up from £5.99 to £7.99 per month, or £59.99 to £79.90 per year.
