According to a recent tweet from the Call of Duty experts at Charlie INTEL, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is expected to release at 12 a.m. EST November 13 in North America. That means those on the West Coast will technically be able to play as early as 9 p.m. EST November 12.

Internationally, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available at 12 a.m. local time November 13.

What about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War preloads?

For those who’d like to start Black Ops Cold War as soon as their above-listed release time arrives, it’s possible to preload the game and have it ready to play as long as you’ve made a pre-order. Preloads are live now on all current and next-gen platforms, so here’s what you need to know.

  • Go to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War store page on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store or Battle.net, and you should be given the option to download the game.
  • On PS4 or PS5, scroll over to your games Library and select Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The option to download the game should appear.
