Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is releasing on October 25th, bearing huge expectations for both its single-player and multiplayer modes. If you’re getting the game on PC through Blizzard’s Battle.Net, then you should start clearing up some room. The PC edition for Modern Warfare weighs in approximately 175GB. That’s basically 3 to 4 times more than average triple-A titles in 2019.
According to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare page on Battle.net, the game will release in three different editions, including exclusive premium items and custom gear per tier. Apart from the editions though, the system requirements for the game will pose a threat to some fans. As it seems, the Hard disk drive space that the game will require is off the charts.

Activision announced that the last public Beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the largest in franchise history. This was because it was not only the most downloaded and that most players tested it, but it was the one that players invested more time in and that achieved the maximum number of simultaneous players between PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
This keeps up the hopes for the upcoming CoD title to be one of the most successful ones we’ve seen in years. If it can surpass its predecessor, Black Ops 4 which launched with a fully-fledged battle royale mode, we’d be really excited.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 25th. There will be cross-progression features between Xbox One and PC, with hopes of Playstation joining too.
