Today is November the 7th, otherwise known as N7 Day among Mass Effect fans where they celebrate the Mass Effect franchise and Bioware releases some new information on the sci-fi universe that started in 2007. Today a new patch has been released for Xbox One X owners of Mass Effect: Andromeda that includes some enhancements for the game, though no real information is given other than its existence. Most likely it adds 4K HDR support to the game, and it comes in around 1.68 GB. This patch may elevate the Xbox One X version above the PlayStation 4 Pro version which released its 4K support around the release of the PS4 Pro two years ago. Mass Effect: Andromeda Enhanced for Xbox One X There’s always something to play in the Mass Effect universe. We’ve been putting the finishing touches on a patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One that’ll let you play in higher resolution, with full HDR. The patch is available now on Xbox Live. In other N7 news Bioware has teamed with J!NX for some new N7 apparel from tshirts to hoodies and jackets, all of which can be browsed on J!NX’s website. N7 day this year is a little subdued, mostly given the reception of Andromeda early last year and the lack of any single-player DLC releasing post-launch. Bioware is also busy working on Anthem which is set to release on February 22, 2019.
