Without a doubt, the eventual availability of both Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy 7 remake will likely cause gamers everywhere to breathe a collective sigh of relief once they’ve officially hit store shelves, as both titles seem to have been in development for quite a while. While the projects’ director Tetsuya Nomura recently stated that development for the forthcoming sequels is moving along well and that he is giving equal treatment to both games, he also admitted not too long ago that KH3 and the FF7 remake were announced too early. This much was divulged during a recent interview between Nomura and the Italian gaming outlet known as Multiplayer, with the Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 7 director explaining that although both of the games were confirmed to be in production too soon, they were announced out of necessity. Apparently, the titles were made known early on in order to indulge and acknowledge the excitement of fans while also preventing leaks and rumors from happening.
