The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection remains on-track for release later in May, a celebration of 30 years of gaming’s most iconic fighting game. But Capcom isn’t content with just releasing a new product. It knows that the heart of Street Fighter lies in its community and the competitions that bring them together. That’s why Capcom’s has now also announced the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Tournament Series, to follow the Anniversary Collection’s release. Three major tournaments will make up the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Tournament Series, each for a different title included within the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Nostalgic Street Fighter fans will be happy to hear that the three featured games will be Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and none other than Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. Here are the upcoming Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Tournament Series events and dates: Street Fighter 2 Turbo ‘Grand Master Challenge’ – CEO 2018, June 29 – July 1 Street Fighter Alpha 3 ‘Dramatic Battle’ – SoCal Regionals 2018, Sept. 14 – Sept. 16 Street Fighter 3: Third Strike ‘Fight for the Future’ – Canada Cup, Oct. 26 – Oct. 28 Each individual tournament will feature a prize pool of $7000 contributed by Capcom, with the winner ‘s prize being $3000.
