Today, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new character trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One later this month. This video focuses on Beerus, a character who started out as a villain in a movie and Dragon Ball Super but went on to become a supporting character. As I mentioned before, Beerus first appeared in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods as an antagonist. This movie was later adapted into one of the beginning sagas of Dragon Ball Super; Beerus later became a staple of that new series, eventually transitioning from the role of antagonist to that of a supporting character. In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Beerus seems like he may become a quite annoying character with a lot of projectile attacks. Beerus can spawn multiple energy orbs around him, which can be used in a variety of ways against opponents. If you want to see the character in action for a bit longer, you can check out a recently released character breakdown video where Perfect Legend goes over what his character can do. Dragon Ball FighterZ is poised to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 26, though players will be able to try the game out via its Open Beta this weekend.
