Beyoncé isn’t going to let anyone steal her thunder.
With Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus all behind much-hyped fall releases, Bey is planning to step up and knock them all out of the spotlight with new top-secret music she recorded a few weeks ago.
Beyoncé decided to wait until early December so her single will come out right after Gaga, Katy and Miley release their albums. It’s all because she wants everyone to know exactly who the queen is, a source tells [email protected]
Bey had planned to put out a big song in early 2013, but kept pushing it back when she realized she wasn’t going to have any real competition on the charts. Then she got wind of the jam-packed fall release calendar and dreamed up her pop-world power move.
Lady Gaga’s third album, ‘Artpop,’ will be released on Nov. 8.
“Many in the music industry have gotten intel that Beyoncé will put out a single in the fourth quarter, some time from late November to early December,” our insider says. “It’s an official single and it’s timed perfectly to push out all the others. It will be out before the end of the year.”
Our source adds that Ole Music Publishing in Nashville is working its magic and will hand the “massive” song over to Columbia Records — Bey’s label. Pepsi bankrolled the whole project.
Another source tells us that Beyoncé has gone to great lengths to hide what she’s been up to in the studio. That’s been very tough, given her status. She played the music only minimally while filming the song’s video, directed by celeb photographer Terry Richardson in Coney Island in August.
Insiders tell us the track and video will land on Dec. 3.
‘Prism,’ Katy Perry’s fourth album, will be released on Oct. 18.
“There is a noticeable hole in Columbia Records’ Q4 release schedule and it’s going to be Beyoncé’s release,” says the source.
That’s the same day Spears is due to release her new album, “Britney Jean.”
The “Toxic” singer’s eighth album is just one of a series of big releases by the top ladies of pop — Gaga’s “Artpop” is due Nov. 8, Perry’s “Prism” will be out Friday and Cyrus’ “Bangerz” landed Oct. 4.
But Beyoncé isn’t just pitting herself against the industry’s new divas. Legendary songbird Mariah Carey is at work on “The Art of Letting Go,” which was postponed this summer after she dislocated her shoulder on a video shoot at 1Oak in Chelsea. Carey is also upping the ante, calling her upcoming record “one of the most important albums I’ve ever made in my life.”
Beyoncé’s rep confirmed to us she has an upcoming project, but said there are “no confirmed dates” for its release just yet.

FLING WITH LEO, BASED ON ZERO
Leonardo DiCaprio’s new model girlfriend is actually not his girlfriend at all.
Kat Torres, a pretty, 24-year-old model signed to Elite Model management in Paris, gave an interview to Brazilian newspaper Extra “confirming” that she is dating “The Great Gatsby” star. But a source tells [email protected] DiCaprio is very much still with his Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend Toni Garrn.
Torres “met Leo and Toni together five months ago — once. In Cannes,” a source tells us. “Nothing since. No pics or anything. Someone wants press and a modeling contract.”
The aspiring Leo lover told the mag: “Leo is amazing, but I worry about what he will think about me talking to you. We have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship. In Europe it is different. People see us together in many places, so they do not need to ask us about anything.”
Perhaps DiCaprio should tap her wild imagination to write his next screenplay.
A KNOCKOUT COMBINATION
When the wedding ring comes off, the boxing gloves come on. That’s the case for Khloe Kardashian, who appeared at a boxing gym in Los Angeles on Monday with half-sister Kendall Jenner while the girls filmed their reality show. Though a reconciliation with troubled husband Lamar Odom is still up in the air, Khloe smiled during the session and later tweeted, “Can’t move my arms after that boxing class … Love/hate this feeling! We accomplished something.”
LILO’S GOING COACH
Lindsay Lohan is acquiring quite the positive posse. In addition to a sobriety coach, we hear Lohan has also enlisted a “health coach” who is guiding her diet and exercise plan. “She sometimes takes her to dinner,” a source tells [email protected] Lohan, who recently moved to SoHo, has been eating lots of fish lately, which explains her frequent trips to nearby Lure Fishbar.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s (above) lifestyle brand hasn’t bowled over Martha Stewart.
NO GOOP HUG FROM MARTHA
Homemaking media mogul Martha Stewart called out Gwyneth Paltrow for moving in on her immaculately groomed turf. “Gwyneth, for example, has a book on the best-seller list. She must be doing something right,” Stewart told Bloomberg Television. “She’s a charming, pretty person who has a feeling for lifestyle. She wants to be a lifestyle arbiter. Fine. Good.” Stewart just wants to make sure Paltrow and the rest of her competition know where they stand. “I think I started this whole category of ‘lifestyle,’ ” she said.

IVANKA’S SPECIAL DELIVERY
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner announced the birth of baby number two Tuesday. “We just welcomed a beautiful & healthy son into the world,” the 31-year-old daughter of The Donald tweeted Monday night. The newcomer joins older sis Arabella Rose, who was born to Trump and Kushner (the 32-year-old owner of the New York Observer) in July 2011. The pair married in October 2009. The Donald chimed in on Twitter to tell his grandson he’s hired: “My beautiful daughter Ivanka just had a healthy baby boy.”
TWINS’ FANCY FOOTWORK
For New York City toddlers, staying ahead of trends means keeping your eyes on Marion and Tabitha Broderick — Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s 4-year-old twin daughters. These days, it’s all about mismatched shoes. Little girls should sport pink stripes on one foot and tiger stripes on the other if they want to even have a chance of maintaining their style cred on West Village streets. Then again, the twins might have just lost the matching pairs. These budding fashion icons are 4, after all.
